Connecting Seniors Through Golf

Welcome to AVGA

With affiliate associations in each state and territory, the AVGA is the national umbrella body for co-ordination of seniors (over 55) golf across Australia.

From its origins in 1981, the AVGA has grown to more than 33,000 members both male and female, across all areas of the country.

Membership entitles you to play in local and regional events, weeks of golf and major events including the annual AVGA National Championships (details under ‘National Championships’).

Why not join your local group and experience the camaraderie. Then, when you travel, pack the clubs and  experience a warm welcome at the veterans group in the area you are visiting.
